Collaborative Research: 11; Collaborative research case studies in this section contain activity that has either been brokered by the CKE or that has arisen from collaborations developed through existing networks. Here the theoretical expertise of academia is enhanced by the practical application brought by an industrial research partner both in terms of testing and impact measurement.
Curriculum Development: 14; Leading edge applied research should be fed through to the curriculum. These case studies indicate how from collaborative research between academic and industrial partners there is clear evidence of this knowledge finding its way into the delivery of new knowledge to those engaged in the academic process.
